World of Wearable Art- WoW

Morag Brownlie was artistic director and choreographer for numerous World of Wearable Art Shows in both Nelson and Wellington.

This image is from a section "Man Unleashed". An actor as Buster Keaton gets blown about the stage in extreme weather systems that reflect his inner turmoil and stress . A luscious Weather lady ( Bella Kalolo) introduced the forecasts.

She appeared in the last section singing - Its raining men” ...and they sure did -on visuals over Wellington city and live from the ceiling over the catwalk.

Americas Cup ball

Morag Artistic directed, cast and choreographed 5 x hours of entertainment for 2 x Team New Zealand Americas Cup Balls.

The first was in front of the Auckland Museum in a Large Tent with dancers, singers, mermaids, visuals and live fountains.  The second was set in the magical Government House and had the theme of Alice in Wonderland. Roaming characters, a Mad hatters tea party, a trapeze duo of the White rabbit and Alice, Opera singers, The cup itself, Jennifer Ward Lealand as the Queen of Hearts playing Croquet on arrival .. it was a very  memorable special event.
